The rod is built to target medium rockfish such as amberjack, dorado, bonito, and large grouper, ideally suited for PE line sizes up to 4号. It is compact enough for various scenarios, including island expeditions by plane or long car trips, making it especially useful for trips where long carrying can be cumbersome.
Additionally, when navigating rugged terrain on rocky shores, the compact design offers advantages, allowing the rod to be stowed away and placed in a case, freeing up both hands for easier movement.
